NEWIEE’s Third Annual Women Shaping the Agenda Panel

New England Women in Energy and the Environment (NEWIEE) is pleased to announce its third annual panel in the “Women Shaping the Agenda” series. “New England’s Energy Mix and Environmental Future” event will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at The University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI.

NEWIEE’s panel series attracts both experienced and young professionals from across New England for an energized and informative discussion about New England’s energy mix and environmental future. We are very excited to be hosting this year at the University of Rhode Island with the Governor of Rhode Island as our keynote and a fantastic panel of speakers!

Our evening will be featuring: Keynote Speaker, the Governor of Rhode Island, Gina M. Raimondo. The panel discussion will be moderated by Judy Chang, NEWIEE Founding Board Member Panelists include: • Sara Burns, President & Chief Executive Officer, Central Maine Power • Kathleen Shea, President Transmission, Eversource Energy • Heather Hunt, Executive Director, New England States’ Committee on Energy • Janet Besser, Executive Vice President, Northeast Clean Energy Council

Please join us at 5:00 PM for a welcome reception with drinks, substantial hors d’oeuvres and networking. The speakers and discussion will kick-off at 6:00 PM and will be followed by desserts and more networking until 8:30 PM.
