ABOUT OUR EVENT Five Black-owned Boston businesses will “pitch” to the community about their company and why they should receive a community loan. It’s like the TV show “Shark Tank” but they’re pitching to us! We’ll hear from businesses, ask questions, and then vote on how to divide around $10,000 in loans to local businesses. To participate, you can invest anywhere from $5 to $500. Everyone gets an equal vote!
