Outdoor classrooms can open children’s minds to the way the world works and create a fascination with nature — that’s why BPS has invested to create these kinds of learning spaces at many local schools through the Boston Schoolyard Initiative. The initiative to leverage outdoor spaces for a variety of learning needs is supported by many community partners, and continues to be a priority for the Boston Green Schools team.
