By October 30, 2019 No Comments

Rising tides. The Emerald Necklace. Flood maps. Zoning code. The Greenovate Awards. Chief of Environment and Open Space Austin Blackmon is hard at work every day to ensure that the Boston we love today is just as beautiful and resilient in 100 years. From Boston’s parks to energy efficient buildings, recycling to renewable energy, and our historic harbor to safe housing conditions, Chief Blackmon helps keep our city beautiful, clean and green.

Join SPARK Boston and Greenovate Boston at District Hall in the Seaport on Tuesday, April 18th at 6 PM for a meet and greet with Chief Blackmon, followed by discussion highlighting Earth Day, and the ongoing progress and opportunities to get involved in the City’s Climate Action Plan, led by Chief Blackmon. Be ready to hear some big ideas and bring your questions about Boston’s future amidst a changing climate.. We’re looking forward to a great crowd and engaging discussion!
