2017 marks Boston Latin School Youth Climate Action Network’s 11th annual summit on climate change and sustainability! This year our theme is Youth Activism and Social Justice as they relate to Climate Change and Sustainability. Our keynote speaker will be Mariama White Hammond, who will speak about the social issues related to climate change and will deliver a potent message about youth activism, social justice, and sustainability based on the extensive work she has done in the Boston community. We will also have a green hip hop artist kicking off the day: Tem Blessed and Blessed Energy! We hope you will come to learn about climate change and the power you have to change it!
