ACTIVATING INTERESTED BYSTANDERS TO HELP SOLVE CLIMATE CHANGE’

By October 30, 2019 No Comments

How do we get “interested bystanders” to become activated on climate change? Science is telling us that the climate is now changing and changing fast. Economics tells us the cost of climate impacts will be staggering. We can solve this problem.

Manomet President John Hagan and Climate Services Senior Program Leader Eric Walberg will share concrete examples from Manomet’s work to show how we motivate interested bystanders and why it’s important. The discussion and reception will take place Wednesday, November 16, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Concord Art.

The Manomet/Concord Art event will focus on how to get the interested bystander off the sidelines and play an active role in solving climate change—one of the biggest challenges humans have faced. There will be a Wine & Cheese Reception from 6:00-7:00 PM and the presentation will begin at 7:00 PM. There is no charge for this event, but registration is required.
