Dear Friend --

Our Soak up the Sun event is quickly approaching (this Thursday, July 30!) have you rsvp’ed?

Join us at 10:45 AM, for our beach theme rally outside the State House entrance. Then we’ll head into the building to meet with legislators and their staff. We will show them how crucial it is to expand the renewable energy market and make clean energy as easily accessible as possible.

If the cap is not raised projects in 170 towns will be stalled and future projects may be pulled out of production completely. Let’s take advantage of the sun’s abundant energy to help create a cleaner, more reliable energy market in the Commonwealth.

With the recent passing of Senator Downing’s solar bill in the Massachusetts Senate it is imperative that we show our government the importance of increasing the net metering caps on solar. Renewable energy is a quickly growing industry that allows us to move to a cleaner energy future and lessen our dependence on dirty energy.

Come to the State House on Thursday, July 30 at 10:45 AM and help us bring more renewables to Massachusetts. The theme of the rally is “beach party,” so make sure to bring your beach gear! Towels, inflatable beach balls, beach umbrellas, etc. There’s never been a better time for us to repower our state with clean energy from renewables.

Hope to see you there!

Thank you,
