Catch up with summer's bounty from just one of Boston Public Schools' many outdoor classrooms.

Outdoor classrooms can open children’s minds to the way the world works and create a fascination with nature -- that's why BPS has invested to create these kinds of learning spaces at many local schools through the Boston Schoolyard Initiative. The initiative to leverage outdoor spaces for a variety of learning needs is supported by many community partners, and continues to be a priority for the Boston Green Schools team.

Greenovate recently got an update from tireless volunteer Alicia Z. at the Edward Everett outdoor classroom -- we invite you to explore the potential of these spaces across the City through this example in Dorchester, and learn more about the priorities of the Boston Green Schools team.
