Join us for a special presentation by the lecture from the Chelsea Creek Action Group (formerly known as the Chelsea Creek (Youth) Crew.). These East Boston teens to work with the Neighborhood of Affordable Housing (NOAH), learning to be local leaders as they participate in the clean-up and redevelopment of polluted sites and the development of programs related to ecological, environmental, recreational, and health issues associated with the Chelsea Creek (actually a river, and considered to be the second-most polluted body of water in Massachusetts).

Hear how their program has influenced climate action work in their neighborhood, what some alums have gone onto do, and the work that they’re currently doing to educate their neighbors about climate change impacts in East Boston.
