ecology_service_day.jpgCivic ecology brings communities together to strengthen bonds while supporting local ecosystems.  Come to the Boston Nature Center for a civic ecology volunteer morning.  Volunteers will help with the removal of invasive plants, preparing the sanctuary’s bird boxes for spring, and improving the Nature Nook.  Work together to support this unique wildlife sanctuary while learning about an urban ecosystem.  This is the culminating event of the visit from Dr. Marianne E. Krasny of Cornell University.  Free
