By October 29, 2019 No Comments

On Tuesday December 13, 2016 the Harvard Global Health Institute will host a symposium titled “Capturing the Carbon Dividend: The Health Benefits of Climate Mitigation.” The symposium will bring together scholars from across Harvard and beyond to develop a research and policy agenda highlighting the health benefits of climate change mitigation measures, including sustainable energy sources, reduced meat diet, and promoting active transport options.

Michelle Williams, Dean of the T.H. Chan School of Public Health, will introduce the symposium, and Rainer Sauerborn, lead author of the health chapter of the most recent Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, will deliver a keynote address.
